Katherine Eleanor Greenleaf, a.k.a. Aunt Kitty, is our pen name. We are a crone-aged nearly lifelong student and practitioner of spiritual and magical arts, from amusing though endearing (from the perspective of many years) ceremonies and attempts and spells from books as a pre-teen, through narrowing and restrictive years of Christianity and an abusive relationship, to a return to the spiritual home of our heart. Our practices are grounded in the garden, the hearth, and wild places, where we are particularly drawn to the ocean, waterways, and forests. Our garden, contained in an ordinary suburban lot, is an eclectic mix of native plants, ornamentals, fruiting trees and shrubs, and vegetables, and is home to many birds and squirrels, visited by raccoons, skunks, and opossums, and sees an occasional stroll-through by deer and wild turkeys.
